About this Death Cafe

Hi! Prompt attendance is required to be admitted into the virtual meeting. The Zoom meeting room will open at 10:50 a.m. so that everyone can check in early and be ready to start on time together.

At 11 am, a brief introduction and guidelines review will get us all started. Then small groups of five or six people will be randomly broken into separate virtual groups for private discussions, with facilitators on hand to help keep the conversations flowing, if needed. About Death Café Westchester, New York, and Barbara Sarah have teamed up with Circle of Friends Death Café of Hudson Valley for our second regional *virtual* Death Café event

Group originator and moderator Barbara Sarah, an oncology social worker and Goldens Bridge resident, has organized dozens of Death Cafés in Westchester and Ulster counties. Since 2013, Circle of Friends Death Cafés in the Hudson Valley have been building a community of caring and conversation throughout Ulster and Dutchess counties.
