About this Death Cafe
The Death Cafe is an opportunity to get together with others who want to talk about death in a safe and accepting group - our hopes and fears and questions to explore. It is an informal event with no set agenda. We aim to be accepting and open, and have some laughs along the way.
If your grief is severe, it may be better for you to find help from a counselling service, (through your GP or CRUSE) before attending a Death Cafe, as it is not strictly a therapeutic group.
Please arrive by 4.15 to give yourself time to buy a drink / cake from the cafe before the start at 4.30.
About Clare & Emily
Clare and Emily have been hosting this event since Feb.2019. We have moved to the Bush Theatre, next to Shepherds Bush Market tube station and hope that you will find the new venue and time accessible.
We work on the 'Cafe model', with Toby, Francis, Janine and Sue facilitating a table each as required, with up to six people to a table.
