About this Death Cafe
This Death Cafe is a casual, friendly place to come talk about death, dying and living. Let's have a conversation about our fears, hopes & experiences.
Our culture has made this a taboo subject for many folks, so let's shine a light on it and talk about it. It won't kill you!
Everyone is welcome!
Note - this is not a bereavement or grief support group or counseling session.
About Sarah Seltzer
I recently moved to the peninsula to be closer to family and live a more rural life than Seattle can offer. Background working for Microsoft and Planned Parenthood. Third generation Washingtonian who grew up in Kennewick. I've been interested in this subject since I can remember, curious about the culture of fear around death. So I am excited by this forum, started in England in 2011. By talking we can help to ease the fear and make the most of the time we have left. I also recently completed a course to be an End of Life Doula.
