As part of a global movement our Death Cafe is a safe space to discuss your thoughts, concerns and experiences of death over a drink and a bite to eat. 

About Amanda Blainey

Amanda Blainey is an author, speaker and activist in the growing death movement and founder of Doing Death an organisation and podcast that opens up authentic conversations about death and dying. In addition to working with a local hospice she is involved in a charity which records the life stories of terminally ill patients in the UK. Currently Amanda is training to be a death doula and runs a regular a death café.  Her hope is that by empowering ourselves to 'do' death and dying better she can inspire people to live more fully.
