Mark Adams and Uplift are pleased to bring Stretford its first Death Cafe.

Mark is a local Scout Leader and Uplift is run by local residents, and they both love Stretford and its people. They want to bring a new service to the people of Stretford that allows them to talk about death without fear!

Death shouldn't be taboo - come and talk to us about that!

Uplift are a locally owned business run by Stretfordians for Stretfordians. They are cafe that serves healthy but tasty food at reasonable prices and provide many different activities and groups for the local community including everything from kids rhyme time to a knitting group.

Mark Adams is Funeral Celebrant accredited by Humanists UK based in the Greater Manchester area. He writes and performs bespoke and personalised non-religious funeral (and wedding and naming) ceremonies.
