About this Death Cafe

Do your family and friends know what your wishes are when you come to the end of your life?  Do you? 

We believe there is a need for a safe space for people to come together over coffee, tea, and cake, for conversation about the only certainty in life.  There will be no agenda, advertising, objection or themes so you can feel relaxed and free to ask whatever you want. 

Talking honestly about death and share their fears and hopes can bring people closer. Not talking about death can: create tension between people, even if they are usually close. It can increase fear, sadness, loneliness and anxiety.

About Claire Martin

Hosted and organised by Claire, a 37 year old Mum living in Risca.  Due to Claire's own experiences, she found that having a safe place to come together and discuss anything 'end of life' can be extremely beneficial.
