About Verna Wittigo
Verna is a Cree woman with two esquaowak and four nuchims. Verna has worked within the social work framework since 1986. 2014 has completed her Masters Social Work degree, clinical.
Verna speaks Cree and English and was taught French through grade school. Verna is a role model, educator, trainer in culture and a true leader.
Verna values nature as she believes she is one with nature. Nurtures growth in others and values relationships and follows the natural law.
