About this Death Cafe
This Death Cafe is hosted by The Sanctuary at Studio Rubedo. It is intended to offer a safe space for confidential, respectful, non-judgemental, and agenda-free group discussions on the topic of death. Through these discussions, Death Cafe seeks "to increase our awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives."

About Brian Schorn
Brian Schorn is an artist, gallerist, meditation instructor, and educator. He volunteers for hospice organizations, Habitat for Humanity, cancer support groups, and domestic violence support groups. Brian recently returned to his hometown of Alpena, MI to be with family after spending many years in college and living all across the country. His grandmother just turned 100.
