My First Experience of Life Beyond Death

Posted by DavidWimble

My first experience beyond death wasn't flashy ... no lights or images ... but it was profound.

I was living alone in a small house.

This took place 38 years ago. I was 28 years old.

I had been experiencing energy flowing into my body for the first time a short time leading up to the life changing energy experience.

So I already knew that there was life beyond the normal day to day existence.

It was around 4 am and I felt this incredibly powerful presence in my tiny living room.

I fell to the floor and was lying face down.

I had this thought. Something like "oh boy, this is it."

There were no visuals other than moving further and further away from my physical body.

As I continued to expand I experienced the presence of an incredible intelligence.

It only takes a second of this intelligence to put an end to whether or not God exists (or higher power, or whatever you call the creator).

My eyes were closed this whole time.

Then a gentle voice said if you want to stay here just open your eyes.

I could see that my body was about to have a heart attack.

So I decided to open my eyes and stay.

I opened my eyes and then immediately the expansion stopped and I slowly started coming back into my body.

I started sobbing and was overwhelmed. I actually phone my mother who instinctively knew that I needed help and came right away.

As I mentioned, this was 4 am when I called.

So, after a very shaky start, that's the night I began my incredible adventure.

You're not handed a manual after you have an energy experience.

You're kind of nudged onto the path in a dramatic way, and then it's up to you to look for clues the best you can as to what to do next.

It's also up to you to follow the hints and clues to develop a closer relationship with that inner voice.

So it was very clunky at first, but got way better as I learned to calm my thoughts and develop that inner relationship.

There have been some really difficult days but also really amazing days and experiences.

Since then I've had many experiences on higher planes.

Not just little brief flashes but actually experiences with communications.

MY PAST RELATIONSHIP WITH DEATH.

I had been terrified of death and obsessed with death, since I was about 6 years old.

I don't have to tell you that there is no great horrifying existence than one that is consumed by death.

Hopelessness doesn't even begin to describe it.

There is no greater pleasure for me than bringing comfort to anyone who is currently in the horrifying head space that I used to be in.

Somniphobia is an intense, irrational fear of sleep. I had that and I think it came from that "Now I lay me down to sleep" prayer that my dad used to get me to say before bed.

"If I should die before I wake." That terrified me.

And the fear of death is called "Thanatophobia."

Amazingly, it's not uncommon to hit a child when they are 5 - 6 years old.

So, I hope this has been helpful.
