Energy connection in hospice

Posted by entropy

I cared for an in law in hospice. It wasn't something I had time to think about, it was that or she went to a home. I'm "energy sensitive" and at first this may sound like a bad mixture. But it was not, the hard stuff wasn't walking to the edge of the Stix, it's still grief and loss. But there was something else hard to put into words, something people want to hear about even less than grief and loss. It's beyond words and this captures only a tiny bit.

The perfect gentle softness of pets returned,
the sweet summer breeze of angel wings,
a Robin feeds her chick from a syringe the nest swaying amongst the stars,
the chick opens eyes as the flock gather round for reunion,
the wings fill out and she walks on the branches,
then it is over, she has fledged flock departs with her,
nurse is at the door you say "she has passed",
she confirms the nest is indeed empty.
