Milwaukee's First Death Cafe

I came across this when I was researching End-Of-Life Doula profession. I am passionate about helping people have an "uncomfortable comfortable" and providing space to talk about death. This aligns with everything I would like to do.

I am wondering how does everyone advertise first meet ups?

I live in Milwaukee, Wisconson.

HI Shantell,

I see you wrote this back in June. Have you started a Death Cafe in Milwaukee? I'm living in Ohio but spending time in the Fort Atkinson area, looking over the place as my possible next home. I like to find as many Death Cafes as I can to attend on my travels. I was wondering if you will be hosting a Death Cafe in the area this summer. I'd be interested if it coincides with my travels. Thanks!

I advertised by posting flyers in grocery stores (not very useful, actually) and discussing the philosophy of Death Café with church acquaintances and other friends. Best of luck to you!!!
