Pauline

Hello!

Same question as someone posted a few days ago - may I go ahead and hold a Death Cafe? I have attended one before, in Oxford, as part of the Dying Matters Awareness Week, and have worked a Celebrant for two years.

I would like to hold one here in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, as part of a Planning Ahead Event to be held here.

Thanks

Pauline

Hi Pauline,

Thanks for your question. The answer is that if you have read and agree to abide by our guide then you are welcome to organise your own Death Cafe. If there is another Death Cafe in your area it may be useful to contact and co-ordinate with them, but even in this case it is fine to organise your own should you want to.

Hope that helps and all the best.

Hi Lamira,

You can download the evaluation form from section 6.7 of the Guide to Holding Your Own Death Cafe.

All the best,
