Do other faciltators "take attendance" and/or keep track of attendees? How about asking them for contact info? I can see ONLY ONE reason to do this: to be able to report if a participant is threatending self-harm, seeming to be a danger to self or others. Ugh. What do other people do? I'm in my second year of facilitating/co-facilitating regularly, and this is the first time this issue has come up.

I've hosted over 80 Death Cafes over the past 10 or so years. There was a point when I did keep contact information; I've since stopped that because I've retired to the beach. And while at 82 years of age, I've begun the Death Cafe movement here in Myrtle Beach again (we have two Death Cafes monthly at the Myrtle Beach Library), I've considered doing it again so I can email info participants may request.
Previously, in Pennsylvania, we began a facebook group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/200022423850347/ (to give interested persons someplace to go for follow-ups, etc.) Not sure I want to begin that here, because, it'd just mean more time I'd have to expend.
