Thoughts on COVID-19

I was delighted to read about Death Cafes in the Guardian last week. I wondered how I didn’t know about them. Especially as it all began in Hackney, and I have lived in Hackney for the last 53 years of my 78 years.

I don’t have much stamina now and it would be difficult for to to keep to a daily conversation. I am very much enjoying reading previous blogs and looking at videos. I should be able to come back to my computer and read a bit more every day now.

I would like to share with you two selfies – with their captions -  and a link to a film that was made in 2012 about me getting my tattoos. The tattoos were done before I was ill. I’m especially glad now that I had them done when I did.

It’s an honour to be part of the Death Cafe community. I only wish I had known about it from its beginnings when I might have been more actively involved – and actually shared coffee and cake with you!
