hi!

My name is Alexandra, I’m a paliative care psychologist and I’m starting a work with veterinarians.

I’d really like to know if it’s possible to organize and host a death cafe to discuss pet’s death issue and I’d also be very ppelased to know your opinion on this matter/idea.

best regards,

Alexandra

Borrow the model, not the name

Hi Alexandra
Thank you for your question and I'm sorry no one else has responded sooner. Death Cafes need to not have an agenda. So if you have something you specifically want to talk about, go ahead and have that group but don't call it a Death Cafe. "Death Cafe" HAS to be undirected. Feel free to email me if you want to talk further

Good idea. I do pet-related counseling as part of my grief and loss therapy, and people really do need a place where they can openly mourn their pets.
