A write up of Glastonbury Death Cafe
Many thanks to the 12 very different people who attended the Glastonbury Death Cafe at The Lazy Gecko today.
It was my first experience of Death Cafe, and a couple of our guests had attended a huge one up at Bristol so in many ways they know more than their facilitator!
Interestingly, most of the conversation centred around funeral planning and last wishes, but other topics came up and will be brought into future cafes.
There was some great feedback at the end, with the suggestion of splitting up into smaller groups being something I will definitely implement in the future.
The magic hat donation raised over £7.00 which will be used to enable those of limited financial means to have a coffee next time. Thanks very much everyone!
