... And following the Samhain celebrations and the Day of the Dead in Glastonbury this weekend, our Death Cafe will reduce to a more manageable FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH, starting on 04 November.

Many thanks to the 12 very different people who attended the Glastonbury Death Cafe at The Lazy Gecko today.

It was my first experience of Death Cafe, and a couple of our guests had attended a huge one up at Bristol so in many ways they know more than their facilitator!

Interestingly, most of the conversation centred around funeral planning and last wishes, but other topics came up and will be brought into future cafes.

There was some great feedback at the end, with the suggestion of splitting up into smaller groups being something I will definitely implement in the future.
