About Frances:

I have long been interested in all of life's markers - from the womb to the tomb and back again.  As such for the last 25 years I have been creating and hosting events that acknowledge such life markers. 

I am currently undergoing training to become a "Death Walker" aka "Death Doula", a person who guides another (and their family) through the dying and death processes.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

Positive and healthy discussions about the life transitionary process we know as "death".

What would you like your legacy to be?

To assist others so that they are able to have a "good death".

Thoughts for sharing:

Death is a transition of the soul that modern society tends to ignore.  Yet it will happen to all of us.
In order for each of us to have a "good death" we need to understand which death means, and in doing so, we celebrate life.
