About Joshua T. Warweg:

I am a behavioral health consultant providing training to organizations on how to support staff and/or clients with topics such as death notification, dying process, grief, and bereavement with a particular emphasis on support for consumers of mental health services and their families. I also consult on topics such as USDOJ Settlement Agreements with state substance abuse and mental health administrations, psychiatric rehabilitation, co-occurring substance use and mental health disorder integration, and the integration of medical and psychiatric services. I have a Master of Arts degree in Thanatology, a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP), and Internationally Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional with Diplomate status (ICCDP-D).


What brings you to Death Cafe?

A friend from my graduate alma mater hosted a Death Cafe in her hometown. As a member of Grief Awareness Consortium Steering Committee, I would like to host Wilmington, Delaware's first Death Cafe.
