I attended a Death Cafe in Asheville NC and LOVED IT!
I needed a place to talk about death.
Death is real. It's inevitable.
I have needed a place to acknowledge death - to reconcile it, to be at peace with it, so that I can realy live!
What would you like your legacy to be?
To help others, as I help myself, remember who we really are.
Thoughts for sharing:
Impermanence is true.
Change is constant.
Resistance to either is painful.
Thank God for reminders:
untimely deaths
shocking betrayals
and failing bodies.
Without them we might think
that our attempts to control things
are actually working.
