About Kendra Given:
I am a mother to an eight year old girl and a college student in Billings, MT. I will begin mortuary school in 2014 to become a licensed mortician. I am interested in death from a cultural history and also green burial and death midwifery. I have also been known to dabble in the arts as a mixed media collage artist and painter.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
Death Cafe is the perfect medium for engaging conversation on a "taboo" subject. Death Cafe helps demistify some of the fears people have about death by providing a safe, nurturing environment to share and learn. Looking forward to many good conversations (and CAKE!).
