Lola, the Albuquerque Death Cafe mascot, will join the conversation circle as a silent reminder of our mortality. She's a life sized plastic skeleton, dressed in a Grateful Dead T-shirt.
About Gail Rubin, CT
Albuquerque was the site of the second Death Cafe held in the United States. Gail Rubin hosted this pioneering event in September of 2012. She is a death educator who uses humor and funny films to help break down resistance to discussing end-of-life issues.
