About Robin Fontana Kent
Committed to learning and to service, Robin Fontana Kent worked for over 30 years as a high school teacher, counselor, and administrator. She has a Doctorate in Education from California Lutheran University.
Robin is a Reiki master practitioner and teacher in the Usui/Tibetan and Karuna Reiki disciplines, as well as a Reiki drumming practitioner. A student of shamanic healing practices, she is a graduate assistant for Shaman’s Journey, where she first learned of the conscious dying movement.
Robin’s work as a hospice volunteer led her to deepen her practice so that she could more fully serve the dying and their loved ones. She studied at Sacred Crossings in Los Angeles and earned certification as a professional death midwife, home funeral guide, and celebrant. Soon after, Robin launched her end-of-life services business, Anam Cara,
Robin sees end-of-life care as an age-old tradition and a sacred calling. She is humbled by the power it holds to connect us and to heal us. She is grateful to serve as a soul friend, an anam cara, to those embarking on life’s greatest journey.
