About this Death Cafe
Grace is running a Death Cafe in Fife as there has never been one here before and she feels it is time to open up the subject to those who may be interested in discussing various aspects of end of life, dying and death experiences.
Grace is well experienced and knowledgeable in aspects of dying and death. From helping people deal with end of life situations, the passing of loved ones, the funeral arrangment, the funeral and the after care of the family. As such she feels well equiped to facilitate the first Death Cafe in Fife.
About Grace Beattie
Grace Beattie is a Funeral Service Professional, having worked on all aspects of the funeral business. She is also a Holistic Therapist, Spiritual/End of Life Coach and Funeral Celebrant.
Grace has learnt that many people do not like to talk about the aspect of dying and death and that this is something that needs to be brought out into the open. Grace plans to do this in a gentle, supportive way so that it breaks down barriers in regards to the dying/death process. Which in turn will take pressure off the family and make the process a little easier to deal with when the time comes. Grace feels that people need to be given to opportunity to speak about their experiences in a safe environment, which will help in coming to terms and the healing process.
