About this Death Cafe
I would like to hold this one in Honor of
ROBIN KISSINGER my good friend who left this earth on Christmas Eve 2013.
This is Colorado Springs 3rd Death Cafe! We kicked it off on Day of the Dead. Cottonwood has offered to host the last Friday of the month through Oct 2014. We will gather in room 236 upstairs. I will supply tea then open up a conversation about death. Food Carts will be out side the Art Center. Or feel free to bring your dinner.
I plan to have us introduce ourselves. Then read a little bit about what Death Cafe is.
If you have a poem or small section of book to read please bring it along.
Then we will see where it goes.

Hi my name is Deb. I became a CNA in 1994. Some times I found that my clients would talk to me about dying as the family didn't seem to hold this conversation. I found this very sad. By holding Death Cafe I hope to help open up this conversation of life’s end. I returned to CO after being gone 25 + years. I am here to know my parents as an adult, and help out so that they can stay in their home. I eat organic, garden, raise red wiggler worms, and juice carrots. I am involved in home funerals and green burials. I look forward to meeting you!
