About this Death Cafe
As this is the 1st Death Cafe I am organizing, I want to focus on just becoming familiar with one another and our "story".
About Beth Manns
I am a 36 year old mother of 2. I was widowed by my first husband in 2010. This loss affected me deeply, and I became a person who is hyper aware of the reality that death can happen at any moment. Most of us avoid talking about death. I would like to hold space for people who want to talk openly about death/dying. I wish for this openness toward death to spread across our land until all of us know, and accept, that death is the only thing we can be certain of. Death Cafes are a peaceful, unstructured time for people to express their thoughts, feelings and ideas about anything death related. No Judgment!!
