About this Death Cafe
I have focused my career on the field of thanatology, death, dying, grief, and loss. I attended the first Death Cafe' in Hong Kong in 2014. I'd like to assist my students at RUC to increase opportunities on campus to discuss death. This is an example of civic engagement on campus, since several students from my class are helping out with various parts of planning. Most of the small-group discussion groups at this event will be in Chinese, with one or two of the small groups conducted in English.

He is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Professor of Psychology and Counseling in the United States.
