About this Death Cafe
This Death Cafe is a special event meat to get the word out to a bigger audience about what Death cafe is and why it exists! We feel that in this age of healthcare and advanced care planning, the conversations of Death Cafe are critical in helping people define their wants and wishes and facilitate the conversations with family and loved ones necessary for those wishes to be carried out.
To that effect, we have brought the Death Cafe into National Healthcare Decisions Week events this year! Come join us! Appetizers, dessert adn conversations are on us!
About Changing the Face of Dying - Amanda Carr
Amanda Carr is an RN with 10+ years experience in the medical field, mostly in Emergency Nursing. Most recently she's been a caregiver to her grandmother on hospice, trained as a death doula, working as a hospice nurse and running her own end-of-life education, planning, advocacy and support business.
