i've been pleasantly surprised at the strong interest in Death Cafes. To my mind it speaks to the passionate need, residing in so many, to have an opportunity to speak openly and freely about death. The liveliness of the conversations attests to the fact that Death Cafes really offer an opportunity to celebrate life!
About jake McArthur
jake McArthur is an executive coach and facilitator. For many years he has volunteered at hospice and the ALZ Society and now facilitates bereravement groups with Beraved Families of Ontario. He has been a host at 5 previous Death Cafes. jake comes to this role with passion arising from his own journey with personal loss.
