About this Death Cafe

This is our fourth Death Cafe at this venue.

 

We meet every second Monday of the month (except April and August).

 

Book a place and join us for drink, food and conversation about dying, death and what is beyond.

Please come prepared to spend about £8 on food and drink to make it worthwhile for the cafe owner. The cafe is open just for us.

 

Arrive from 6pm and order food and drink at the bar.

  

We start at 6.30pm. We will take a short break after 8pm, followed by a plenary/feedback from each table in the whole group. The evening ends at 9.15pm.  The last 10 minutes of the evening are taken up with filling in feedback sheets. Your feedback will be published anonymously as part of a write-up on our Death Cafe page.

We have room for up to 30 people. Please cancel your booking if you cannot come.

About Josefine Speyer

Josefine Speyer is a UKCP registered psychotherapist based in London with a special interest in death education, offering workshops, seminars and supervision. 

 

She has hosted a monthly Death Cafes since 2012, at her home in NW London, Oxford, Lewes and monthly in Hampstead, now West Hampstead. www.deathcafe.com/profile/25/

 

For over twenty years she has held death education workshops, death discussion groups, talks. She also holds Natural Death Salons at her home in Cricklewood, near Willesden Green station.

 

Philomena Corrigan co-facilitates this Death Cafe since 2014.  Philomena is  retired nurse, a Samaritan volunteer and a trained Death Doula. She also is a host of Death Cafe Finsbury Park.
