About this Death Cafe
We intend to provide an open, respectful and confidential atmosphere where people can express their views about death. Within a warm, caring and loving environment, we intend to share thoughts and make friends while enjoying coffee and cake. We would like to express our appreciation to Open Vistas Awareness Center for donating their facility for this event.
About Rev. Tresha Wing and Wanda Rodriguez
Rev. Tresha Wing is the minister, counselor and teacher of Open Vistas Awareness Center since 1997. She received her ministerial license from Religious Science International. She has been a hospital Pastoral volunteer and been trained in both Hospice and Passages. She has visited many countries, lived in Mexico for a short time and Germany for several years. She has raised 7 children while getting her BA and MA degree.
Wanda Rodriguez has a medical background in respiratory Therapy. She currently owns 21 Palms Spa/Salon, where she is the massage therapist and aesthetician. She is a counselor at Open Vistas Awareness Center and has received training in Hospice and Passages. She is currently studying for her ministerial license.
