About Hospice Outreach Programs of Elgin (HOPE)

HOPE (Hospice Outreach Programs of Elgin) is a provincially registered organization developed to provide supportive services for residents within the County of Elgin.  HOPE was established by a team of dedicated and compassionate individuals, who have pulled resources and talents together to meet the identified need. 

Our intention is to provide programs to families dealing with a life threatening or progressive illness, raise awareness to issues of death and bereavement, and provide quality programming for everyone residing in Elgin, no matter where they are… their home, LTC or hospital, etc.  We are not willing to see any individual go without support when they are most vulnerable.  This includes our friends and families, as well as yours. 

As members of the founding Board of Directors, each of us has had the honour to have been touched by past clients, and look forward to assisting more families through life's transitions as we continually evolve.   We also know that transitions take time, and we will be here as long as we are needed.
