About this Death Cafe
Bellingen is a beautiful town filled with alternative free thinking people, it is a great place to hold such an event. Have had great positive feedback when talking to people about Death Cafe. A great initiative to get like minded people together to discuss death and life. Each participant brings a wealth of knowledge to share.
Come and meet like minded people and share stories/rituals/conversation over coffee/tea/chai and cake. It is an open forum, relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a focus on healthy discussion around death and life. A "dynamic,organic process" where participants “create and build” the energy and guide the conversation.

Death Cafe Bellingen is being hosted and facilitated by Simone' Harris. A local Bellingen resident with a background in disAbility, elder care, bereavement support and currently working as a specialist practice nurse. Trained in spiritual care for the dying, Home Hospice, Reiki in the Palliative Setting and Palliative care and Conscious Dying Workshop facilitator
