About this Death Cafe
I have chosen to run a cafe as it is time for conversations around death, dying and life to surface. I have found that people want to talk about this subject however are afraid to in case what others will say. Our western culture has made it such a taboo subject. I see hosting a Death Cafe as giving power back to the people in a safe like minded environment where death literacy and exploration is encouraged.

Simone Harris is host and facilitator. I have a nursing background. Trained in bereavement support, spiritual care for the dying, Home Hospice, Reiki practitioner in the Palliative Setting and a Palliative care and Conscious Dying Workshop facilitator.
