About this Death Cafe
Death Cafe Albany welcomes you to join us for stimulating, informative and free-ranging discussion about death, dying, and bereavement.
A change of venue for this gathering! We are celebrating our TENTH birthday with a picnic at Allambie Park, on the lawn between the main carpark and the Natural Burial area.
You can use the main gate (opposite Bayonet Head shopping centre) or go a little further along Lower King Road to the Natural Burial area.
Please bring your own cup and a chair or rug if you can, your own snacks if you have specific dietary requirements, and a Thermos of hot water or beverage if convenient. We'll try to get the coffee/ice cream van to stop by.
All welcome to come along and participate in an afternoon of discussion of anything and everything death-related. No agenda or guest speakers, just congenial conversations - but please be aware that this is a forum for sharing ideas, experience, and information, not a grief support group.
We have a Facebook page (Death Cafe Albany WA) where we post any updates to meeting arrangements, in particular if the Albany weather is looking dodgy! Or call Irene on 0428 991653 if you'd like to check details.
