About this Death Cafe

This is Monument’s introduction to Death Cafe!  I am tying it in to ALL SAINT’S DAY and DAY OF THE DEAD CELEBRATIONS to get us started!
At 4pm,  we will gather in the meeting room..have a bit to eat and drink and open up a conversation about death.
I plan to have us introduce ourselves.  Then read a little bit about what Death Cafe is.
If you have a poem or small section of book to read please bring it along.
Then we will see where it goes, (I have a few questions to ask if we need a starter).

Hi my name is Deb.
I became a CNA in 94. Some times I found that my clients would talk to me about dying as the family didn't seem to hold this conversation. I found this very sad.  By holding Death Cafe 
I hope to help open up this conversation of life’s end.
I returned to CO after being gone 25 + years.
 I am here to know my parents as an adult, and help out so that they can stay in their home.
 I eat organic, garden, raise red wiggler worms, and juice carrots.
 I recently purchased ducks. I wanted to get the eggs and learn about them. 
I care for folks gardens and livestock. I am involved in home funerals and green burials.
I look forward to meeting you.
