About Robin Kent
Committed to learning and to service, I worked for over 30 years as a high school teacher, counselor, and administrator. Upon retiring, I became a hospice volunteer, which in turn led to my studying to become a professional death midwife. Upon completion of my studies, I earned proficiency certification through the National End of Life Doula Alliance. I am currently employed as the Volunteer Coordinator for Silverado Hospice Ventura.
In my spare time, I like to keep active through running, hiking, and Kenpo karate. My husband Jeff, our numerous rescue cats and dogs, and I reside in the historic district of my beloved hometown. We host Oxnard Death Café and hold other free, death-positive community events.
