About this Death Cafe

Ellen and Marion feel hosting a Death Cafe is a way to make a positive contribution to life in their communities.  Both have found in their work and studies that talking about death is a deepening experience that connects people in a way that can be transcendent, comforting and life affirming all at the same time.   And, they like to talk (and listen!) a lot.  And, drink coffee.  And, eat cake.  And, kayak.  Not all at the same time.

Ellen and Marion are very grateful to Schillaci Cafe & Espresso Bar for donating their space and staff time for the cafe after business hours.
