You probably don't have responses because I don't think people generally issue press releases. I have never issued a press release and have hosted 18 events. Where are you located? What are you hoping for with the press release? Typically, if you list your event on Deathcafe.com that is the best start. If you tweet about your event include @DeathCafe. A lot of the Death Cafe hosts will help promote each others events. That being said, if you really want to do a press release, I would check out Gail Rubin's website. She hosts ABQ Death Cafe and also has a media background. http://agoodgoodbye.com/upcoming-events/abq-death-cafe/
Also if you haven't done so, please review section 7 of the guidelines which gives good tips for promotion. Hope this helps!
