I am a registered and practicing Human Givens psychotherapist. I enjoy life and have always been curious about what makes us, as individuals and as society, tick.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I have noticed, time and again, how when someone is bereaved they face not only the loss of someone in their life but also the awkwardness of those around them. As a society I think we've forgotten how to talk about death. I am passionate about rekindling that conversation and I believe Death Cafes are a wonderful way to begin to reclaim death as part of life. By accepting the inevitability of death I think we become freer to live fuller lives.
