About Gillian Drew:
I wear many hats in helping people transition through life changes. I'm a kinesiologist, a meditation teacher, a reiki practitioner, and an end-of-life doula. As a doula, I like to help people connect with the information they want to know about death and dying - whether they are full of life or nearing end of life, so they understand more of where they are at and where they're going, and all that 'admin' is taken care of. This means they can be more in the moment for those that are special to them.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
Death Cafe provides a beautiful space in which to bring conversations about death out into the light. It's an opportunity gain self-awareness of your own relationship to life, death, and dying through asking questions, sharing experiences, and witnessing others' transitions through loss and life.
What would you like your legacy to be?
To have helped people become more self-aware and gain an understanding of that awareness, so they can make choices that support the life (and death) they desire.
