About Garrett Foster:
I'm an interfaith minister, life-cycle celebrant, inter-spiritual counselor, writer, and the founder of Community In Spirit. I am also a three-time cancer survivor. Through what I call "spiriual chemo," I learned to embrace life and release my extreme fear of death.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
We do not die well — especially in the United States. If we don't talk, think or feel about death, we believe it won't happen. I feel a calling to initiate a conversation on this taboo topic that impacts each one of us.
What would you like your legacy to be?
To have done what I loved and spread loving doing it
