Death Cafe profile for Carolyn Osborne

Location: United States

About Carolyn Osborne:

Carolyn Osborne is a self employed artist and owns a gallery/gift shop in Tacoma and creates fused glass memorial items.  I was told about Death Cafes from others that work in the "death arena" because of my work and because of the loss of my brother.  Death is part of life and it should be easy to talk about.

What brings you to Death Cafe?

I find Death Cafe to be an incredible place to openly share ideas of all kinds about death safely.  There is no judging. And so many minds have so many different thoughts and ideas.  And we all experience death and we will all die.

What would you like your legacy to be?

I would like my legacy to be that I was the best person that I could be and I helped those that I could.

Thoughts for sharing:

I always tell people, "It never gets better, only different".  Loss of a loved one changes you forever.
