Hi,
I'm about to launch into hosting or facilitating my first death cafe!
I've been freelancing as an artist in numerous community arts projects over the last 20 years, as well as continuing my own arts practice.
I have been spending more time in a new state (NSW rather than SA) and this gives me a bit of time to plan and reflect on some new endeavors with my new community. Death Cafe is one of these.
Please wish me and my session participants luck for my new adventure and explorations into death.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
I'll be honest: I am very slack at organising my affairs (Will, etc etc) however I find I am more interested in the conversations and meanings and beliefs around death than the administration side.
A new friendship here has allowed me to find a partner to start this Death Cafe journey.
Who knows, it might even give me the deeper understanding and motivation I need to do my admin. However that's not a concern within this forum. Just curious!
