I have worked with PCC members for 8 years, supporting them in delivering patient focussed teaching to Medical Students.
I am passionate about creating an environment where PCC members are comfortable, supported and enabled to provide a first-class patient perspective to our medical students.
I have facilitated several Death Cafes; which we have been running at Leeds School of Medicine since 2016. I am particularly looking forward to taking part in our on-line Death Café at this very particular time. I have had the devastating experience of losing a parent during this current crisis, and not being able to see or give comfort to my family or support my father. I know there will be thousands of other in the same position and that there is a great need to talk about this.
