About Newman Allen:
I'm an experienced facilitator with a passion for spaces where we can explore what it means to be human. I've attended a number of Death Cafes, including the world's first hosted by Jon Underwood. I've facilitated Death Cafes in London and soon in Copenhagen.
What brings you to Death Cafe?
My best friend Jon Underwood was the founder of Death Cafe, and I was close to his process from inception to his untimely death in 2017. I am committed to continuing the legacy of his work by hosting and facilitating Death Cafe whenever and wherever I'm able. I'm particularly excited to host events at unlikely and unusual events (eg burningman and other alternative festivals).
What would you like your legacy to be?
At best, to be remembered as someone who made life feel a bit more connected and human; at worst, to be cleanly and completely forgotten.
