About this Death Cafe
Dying happens to all of us and in Birmingham we have a community group BrumYODO https://brumyodo.org.uk who are helping our community to talk more openly about death and dying so that they can make active choices and make a big difference to their lives and deaths.
This event is part of BEDLAM and arts and mental health festival a very logical place to be talking openly about things which affect how all of us live.
About Anna Lock & Rosie Barker
Anna lives in Birmingham works as a Palliative Medicine Consultant in Sandwell and West Birmingham where I am part of a team providing holistic, quality-of-life care to patients with serious progressive illnesses for whom cure is no longer possible.
Rosie is the Community Engagement Team Leader at Birmingham Museums. she has been involved in programming events at the museums aiming at opening up conversations about death and dyng.
