About this Death Cafe
This Pop-up Death Cafe is one of a series of events Poppy's Funerals is organising for Dying Matters Awareness Week to encourage people to broach the subject of death and dying in a friendly, informal space.
About Poppy's Funerals
Poppy's is an award-winning, modern funeral directors serving bereaved people across Greater London. Our team of eleven provide warmth, humanity and exceptional personal service at one of life’s hardest times. Since 2012 we’ve supported over 1500 families, won multiple national awards and been featured across the media. Our aim is to provide a transparent, open, flexible service to the people of Greater London in a sector which can be opaque and unscrutinised, both in its practice and in its pricing. We want the public to make informed choices when it comes to funerals so we focus much of our energy on working to educate the public about their choices. We see it as our mission to get people talking about death, dying and bereavement, and to educate people about their options at the end of their lives.
Home Community Cafe is a multi-use community space that is open to all, equipping, empowering and encouraging our local community to explore and develop its potential.
