About this Death Cafe
Having visited Death Cafes recently and travelled quite a distance in order to do so, we feel it would be a good idea to hold one in our local area.
We’ve decided to hold a second Death Cafe in Hinckley to coincide with Dying Matters week
You are welcome to join us for this daytime Death Café as advertised for tea, cake and conversation about death in an open, respectful and confidential space. We meet simply as people who are aware of our own mortality.
The aim of the Death Café Movement is to increase awareness of death in order to help people make the most of their finite lives. Everyone is welcome.
Death Cafes are not for profit and have no agenda, objectives, advertising or themes - the conversations that happen are entirely dependent on the people who turn up. They do not offer bereavement or counselling support and are not faith or belief orientated.
