About this Death Cafe
I've been attending Death Cafes as a participant for a year or so now and really wanted to arrange one myself in my local area of Queens Park in North West London.
The Death Cafe is a great concept and such a natural way to talk about one of life's most important and yet least discussed topics - death!
This is a free event as The Alice House in Queens Park have kindly agreed to donate their back room (The Library) in the hope that people will support by buying a cup of tea or coffee. We will provide something to nibble.
This gathering is for anyone but we'd especially like to welcome people who have never been to a Death Cafe before or think it all sounds a bit weird! It's actually a really relaxed format, no agenda, other than we sit in small groups around tables, drink coffee, and have a conversation about death and dying with people we haven't met before.
I have found it an incredibly positive experience.
